Porky’s People NPC [792099] was founded in May 2018, to share inspiring South African stories, highlight worthy causes in need of support, and spread helpful information.
We also fundraise to feed vulnerable individuals and families in Pietermaritzburg, and every year, we provide a children’s home with gifts and Christmas cheer.
With our platform, we aim to build a community of compassionate individuals and inspire random acts of kindness throughout the planet.
We have launched this crowdfunding campaign, if anyone would like to support the running of our website which costs -+$300 a year to run.
As our platform grows, we remain committed to touching as many people as possible with something positive.
Our Impact so far:
- We have written about 200+ crowdfunding campaigns and inspired 15 000+ donations to a variety of worthy causes across South Africa.
- 190 000+ people from 170+ countries worldwide have visited our website, reading 240 000+ stories.
- On social media we have reached over 3 Million people.
