I extremely excited to say that my yonger brother, Kyle, has been selected to swim in the Circuito Nuoto Italia in June 2018.
To say that Open Water Swimming is his passion, would be a gross understatement.
He swam his first Midmar Mile at the age of 9, and since then his love and dedication to the sport has just grown.
He earned his Protea Colours for Open water Swimming at age 14. He was selected to swim at the Fina Junior World Championships in July 2016. He has been selected for SA Open Water Nationals for the past 5 consecutive years.
This trip to Italy is completely self-funded, and I am appealing to anyone who will be willing to donate anything towards this swim.
