Honors in Quantity Surveying 2020

Personal message

My name is Takalani Magoro. I am a 24-year-old female with a passion to study. I studied 4 years in a University of Technology and acquired a Bachelor in Technology in Quantity Surveying in 2017, and that was all my parents could afford.

I have since been limited in getting jobs as most companies require an Honours Qualification which is what I have applied and have been accepted for at one of the top universities in South Africa (University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg). My parents are unfortunately currently both unemployed and cannot afford to pay my fees.

I would like to raise funds to cover the cost of my Honours in Quantity Surveying fees for the year 2020.

The construction industry in South Africa is going through a tough time wherein we face limited job opportunities, and opportunities that are there barely pay enough to sustain a person. Studying further would really help me in acquiring a job either in the construction industry or working as a professional in the university.

In my Four years of studying my Bachelor, I am proud to say that I never repeated a subject – that is how hard I work! I dedicate 2020 as a year of achieving my Honours in Quantity Surveying and I will do it in record time, because I have no room for failure.

*Funds raised will be paid directly to the institution*
