I am Thabang Matuka (29) and I live in Bloemfontein, Free State. I'm a professional footballer who played for Bloemfontein Celtic, Maritzburg United and Bidvest Wits just to name a few. I also represented S.A at U/20 and U/23 levels respectively.
I am requesting funding to support my attendance at the FC Malaga City Academy residential football program and to study at the language school, Acamedia de Idiomas Torrox.
The academy offers a 10 months football program including accommodation, transport, and coaching program. At the program I will be provided with the opportunity to study and develop my football knowledge and ability with daily sessions (25 hours per week) and to experience Spanish football by attending coaching sessions with local teams and players as well the opportunity to go and observe La Liga matches in Malaga and Almeria to analyse the football in Spain more intently.
I am required to be in Spain by the 29th of July 2019 and must acquire my visa no later than the 10th of July 2019.
