The Barefoot Project

Personal message

In 2017, Moose, from the West Coast Crew traveled to Italy to play on the European beach rugby circuit. Moose made contact with an ex-pro sportsman and actor by the name of Danny Ligairi-Badham.

Danny has traveled the world giving back to less fortunate communities. In 2018 Danny traveled to Kenya and Fiji to conduct coaching clinics and provide youth with a better platform for a sporting future.

Moose has teamed up with Danny and they are bringing The Barefoot Project to South Africa. Follow us on our journey to provide the youth of our world with a better platform to excel on the sports field. Grassroots level is where we will grow our strength in sports.

We are not funded by any corporates or individuals. All of our operators donate their own time and resources to help the project to grow.

We have found that the projects individually have different needs depending on their locations and backgrounds. We have decided to raise funds through this program in order for us to better serve the communities.

We work closely with community leaders in South Africa, Kenya, Fiji, and Nepal to ensure the correct resources go to the right people.

We ask for the absolute minimum to be donated. We are not asking for huge amounts of money. If every person in the world would donate 1 cent, 1 penny, 1 dirham, etc, the barefoot project would be able to assist those in need in the most effective way.

All of our donations affect the various communities around the world directly. Our Directors will not benefit from these funds.
