The Angel Network is raising funds to help Thembeka study to become a cardiologist. With a 40% bursary, her mother still needs to cover R48 000 for fees and stationary.
Thembeka is an inspirational young lady with big dreams. She attended Clarence Primary Government School, whilst she lived at her mother’s place of work. Her mother is a domestic worker and has worked hard to try give Thembeka the best opportunities in life.
While Thembeka was in Grade 7 she applied to a private Curroschool for a bursary. With her excellent school marks and ambition, she was awarded a 40?e reduction scholarship.
Thembeka is a powerful performer and writer and has a talent that commands the room.
Her dream is to become a cardiologist one day, as she loves helping people and has a passion for cardiology. Thembeka is currently trying to study using an old cellphone to read her school work e-book material, and we would really love to try help make her road to success a little easier.
If you are able to help with any of her schooling needs, please let us know.
Greatest needs currently:
*Laptop or tablet to study school work curriculum.
*Stationary and text books - approx R7000
*School fees assistance. Thembeka’s bursary currently allows for a 40% reduction in annual fees. Her mom is having to cover the balance of R40800.
We would be most grateful if we could please get some funding towards helping Thembeka on a journey of success.
Funds will be used to pay off the remaining fees and R8000 towards stationery and books.
