Victor "The Hunter" Gugushe runs Ultra Trail Cape Town for SOS

Personal message

Victor Gugushe or better known in the Trail running world as "The Hunter" is making his return to the Ultra Running stage after 2 years of rest.  The Hunter is running for the SOS fund to help and improve people's lives that are not in the position to do this themselves.  According to The Hunter, it all started in 2007 when David Flok and Bruce Fordyce came to Plettenberg bay for a program for Supersport, by then he was playing soccer for one of the local teams in Plett.

He then started to train for a running event which was a Classic 10 km off-road and on-road run. By his surprise he finished 2nd,  he never took it seriously until 2009 when he joined the Plett Athletics Club.  The first road run he did was a 21km.
