As CEO of Futurelife Health Products Pty, I have been challenged by my staff to take part in the unique upcoming #CEOSleepoutZA to raise money for destitute children. I am letting as many people as possible know about my participation in the 702 Sun International CEO SleepOut taking place on 18 June 2015 in cities all over the world. www.theceosleepoutza.co.za
I pledge to use my time and my position as CEO, in the lead up to and on the night of the CEO SleepOut, to raise even more funds for Futurelife’s chosen charity and to create awareness about their important work. Joining thusands of business leaders around the world, I will spend the night of the 19th June under the stars.
The charity of my choice is Futurelife Foundation, an independent Trust established 2014 to implement large-scale feeding programmes for underprivileged children.
I would like to invite you to join me, by making a donation to our charity right here at BackaBuddy, which is a secure and transparent way to donate. Funds go straight to the charity.
Every R 1.50 will pay for a nutritious meal for a child and I undertake to match every meal with one extra.
For every corporate donation, I will post a thank you using the hashtags #CEOSleepOutZA and #RisetotheChallenge to their platforms and to FUTURELIFE's extensive digital network. The campaign which is being driven and supported by Primedia.
Thank you for considering this appeal. It has been my dream that the benefits of Futurelife can be enjoyed by millions of people around the world for a better future life. At Futurelife, we believe that doing good - is good for business, and we would like to share this philosophy with as many people as possible.

Futurelife Foundation Trust
Futurelife Health Products started feeding schemes for orphans and vulnerable children in 2008. The Foundation was formalized in 2014 to expand the outreach programme to more communities in need. We are an independent Trust with 6 volunteering trustees from all professions and walks of life.
We mainly support Early Childhood Development and have 2000 children on our daily feeding programme at present. We address the following needs of these destitute children: nutrition, physical education and mental stimulation. The ECD centres on our program receive 2 Futurelife meals per child a day, a playground, a mobile library and a foldable desk which they can take home.
According to UNICEF, children aged 0-7 years are worst affected by poverty and malnutrition in RSA. Poor health is recognized to be a barrier to any education. Improving micronutrient status through food fortification as in Unity Meal, particularly with iron, B-vitamins, vitamin A and iodine, contributes directly to enhanced cognition and learning capacities.
