Yaya's ECD course

Yaya's ECD course

Personal message

As my children get older and spend more time at school, it is time to start preparing for the next step in the journey of their 'other mother'.

For those of you who know our Yaya, you will know how special she is.  She has been my most solid back up since Tom was born.  She has added so much value to Tom and James's lives, as a carer, as a teacher and even a part-time OT and speech therapist!

She is my sister and my best friend.  And she has a dream to build and run her own ECD Centre (creche) in Richmond - her home town - a rural area just outside Pmb.

The first step in what will probably be a 5 year journey, is her qualifying as an ECD Practitioner.  She has a 50% bursary to study through Cavershem Education Institute https://cavershaminstitute.co.za and we are raising the remaining R7,500 for each of the 2 years of study. Please join us on this adventure if you are able to contribute.  Even R50 will make a difference.

*Funds raised will be transferred directly to the Cavershem Education Institute*
