Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Support Group of SA

ADHASA, the Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Support Group of Southern Africa, is a support group for people affected by ADHD. It was founded on the 7 October 1989 and registered as a Section 21 NPC in 1993 as an NPO in 2012 and as a PBO in 2019.

National Office is based at Delta Park School (although it functions independently of the school).  ADHASA has 20 branches spread across South Africa, as well as a Help Desk in Soweto.

ADHASA is the largest ADHD support group on the African Continent. The Commitment of the ADHASA support group and their volunteers has ensured that the Group has retained its identity and credibility as a major player in the fields of support, research and education of ADHD in South Africa and indeed internationally.

Over the past 30 years, ADHASA has improved the lives of tens of thousands of people with ADHD. Although ADHASA activities have focused on South African residents, they have also benefitted many from the surrounding states and abroad.
