AMAZING GRACE UPLIFTMENT CENTRE

Amazing Grace Upliftment Centre is a NPO working in the Community of Westlake.

Our main objective is to empower and uplift the children in the Westlake Community, who for many reasons, have difficulty with the regular schooling or socialization.

We aim to address this imbalance by identifying young children that need assistance to bridge the divide between a restricted development and a positive future.

This can be achieved through individualized focus on particular difficulties and offering the remedial opportunities to rectify them. Such disadvantages include literacy and numeracy deficiencies, physical handicaps such as speech impediments, underdeveloped muscular systems, hearing and vision impairments and social imbalances.

Our aim is to introduce remedial teachers, occupational and physio therapists, speech therapists, counsellors and psychologist.

We trust that through the various remedial interactions, these children will be able to re-enter the normal schooling system.

At present we are working from a house in Westlake, which we will be renovating into Our Upliftment Centre.

We would also like to introduce art, music, sport and dance classes for kids who might not have an academic future.

Amazing Grace would also like to arrange talks, where the parents in the community can be advised as to how they can assist their children with the remedial process.

Amazing Grace's secondary objective is to work with other organisations in Westlake, such as Westlake Community Trust, WOW (Women of Westlake), Orphan Kids Foundation, to see where we can assist each other with Community Projects, Kids Club, Mandela Day, Womens Day, Youth Day, etc.

TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Thank you for taking an interest in our NPO.
