Anna Foundation

The Anna Foundation's 3 R's “Reading. Running. Right-ing.” Programme is about building self-esteem, self-responsibility and self-worth, with the aim to equip each child with skills for life-long learning. The programme is based on a philosophy of holistic development and a belief in ‘Healthy Body, Healthy Mind’.

The Anna Foundation also trains women from the farming communities to implement the daily running of the 3 R’s programme.

The children participate in many 5km fun runs throughout the year. These fun runs give the children an opportunity to interact in society, practice good manners and show off their sporting abilities. To qualify for the monthly running event the child must read 8 books, train 8 times and be ‘right me’.At most of the events children go home with a medal of their own. For so many children, the monthly fun run is the highlight of their month!

Better late than never - we donate R50 for each degree you went down : this makes for Tyrell 37-31 = 6 : thus 6 x R50 = R300.00 and for Phillip 37-33 = 4 : thus 4 x R50 = R200.00
