The decision was made in August 2011 to start an initiative to try and make a positive impact in the lives of members of our local communities by providing them with bicycles that they can use to get to work and back, thus saving them money that could rather be used to put food on the table for them and their families. To date we have donated almost 60 bikes.
Our major challenge at the moment is space for storage and a workshop. Our short term goal is to acquire a shipping container to convert into a storage unit and workshop that will be located at the PWC cycle park in Bryanston.
Our findraising goal for the remainder of 2015 is R50 000.
