The Cape Leopard Trust is a non-governmental, not-for-profit organisation engaged in innovative research, conservation and education projects established to facilitate and promote the conservation of biological diversity, with a focus on the Cape mountain leopard as a flagship species. Since its inception in 2004, the CLT has gradually gained momentum with a number of projects currently running in the Western and Northern Cape. The Cape Leopard Trust is made up of a small, but highly dedicated, educated and enthusiastic team. Our employees are spread across a number of project areas in the Cederberg, Boland, Namaqualand, Cape Peninsula and Gouritz corridor mountains, and include research on leopards, caracals and jackal. We also run high impact environmental education projects in the Cederberg and greater Cape Town area.
