Willie en die Wenspan Campaign
We at Soteria Kids found that there are countless churches and organizations that equip and minister to adults, but not children. We believe that our children are our future leaders and also in need of ministry events such as this. Therefore, we started an annual Childrens Ministry event in October 2022 with Willie & die Wenspan.This event is aimed at reaching children that don't know the Love of Jesus and to encourage them to want to learn and grow more as a child of God by attending or joining a church/community near them. It is to empower and equip ALL children from ALL cultures and communities..........free of charge.
We decided that children should not have to pay to enjoy and attend such events. This year we would like to reach 200 children...
The theme for this years event is the "Fruit of the Spirit". With this we would like to teach the children what the Character of a Child of God is and how he/she should be....
This years event runs from Friday 20 October through Saturday and ends with a Family Service held at Soteria Gemeente, 27 Vicotria Street, George. Willie does come a few days earlier and ministers to any schools that will allow him the opportunity.
However, to host such an event costs alot of money and we need to raise the funds to make it possible so that the children don't have to pay. The costs include the following: Willie's flights, accommodation, transport & service/ministry fees. Welcome packs, snacks, crafts for kids etc... We need to raise at least R25,000.00.
