Help Chulu Settle Their Student Debt Campaign

My name is Chulumanco Mihlali Nkasela, I a queer artivist and activist currently doing my final year of Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Gender Studies and Political Studies. I have been awarded the Dean's Merit Award for both my 1st and 2nd year. In 2020 I was recognised by the Mail & Guardian Top 200 as one of the most influential youn people in South Africa in the civil society category. Towards the end of 2020 into 2021 I worked with Tshisimani Centre for Activist Education to produce the isiXhosa translation of the Pocket Queerpedia, a toolkit of a glossary of terms in and about the LGBTQIA+ community in South Africa.
