Get Mia to the Gothia Cup Campaign
My daughter, Mia Munro, our 12 (almost 13) - year old Soccer Superstar is part of the Tramway U/14 girl's soccer team heading to The Gothia Cup, Sweden in July 2024!Tramway U/14 girl's soccer team from Southfield, Cape Town, holds an unbeaten league record of 15 games with a total of 92 goals scored and 7 goals conceded. They were crowned champions after beating their opponents 7-0.
Mia is the team's absolutely amazing goalkeeper who led victory from the goalposts throughout this league.
The Gothia Cup is the world’s largest and most popular international youth football tournament. Each year, around 1,700 teams from 80 nations take part and 4,500 games are played on 110 soccer fields.
Each of the 16 players need to raise their own funding to participate in The Gothia Cup - at an amount of R35,000 each. This includes flights, passport, visa, accommodation, meals, transport, and participation in the tournament.
