Joyce Moves to UK Campaign

Joyce is starting a new adventure!

Most of you would know Joyce as a teacher at Robyn's Nest. She either cares for your little one now, or has been an important part of their (and your) life in the past. 

Joyce lost her husband (David) from COVID in December 2020. It was a traumatic time because she was with her children in Zimbabwe when he closed his eyes and she didn’t get to say goodbye. 

Since then Robyn has been helping her and her children as much she can, but as we all know the economy has become tighter. She has a 19 year old boy Stevie and a daughter, Adelaide. She also takes care of her niece and her nieces daughter who is now 6 years old.

Joyce’s cousin lives in England and works for a nursing home in Northumberland. Over the past couple of years Joyce has been volunteering at old age homes to gain experience for nursing/care giving in the UK. The nursing agency in England helped her to get a working visa for 3 years which happened quite fast.

So Joyce will be leaving mid-November and will be earning Pounds to send home to her family. We are very happy and relieved for her but will also miss her so much.

Joyce has been such a big part of our lives, and we want to support her in this momentous move by paying for her one-way airplane ticket to England.
