Medical student registration Campaign

Good day

We are a doctors who  studied in Russia under the epharim mogale busary and we were taken to Russia by the Mpumalanga department of education. However it was not an easy journey .

We graduated from the Russian training programme in 2022 and upon graduation we had to verify our qualifications with ECFMG (Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates.)

We had to pay a fee for the verification and we also struggled with that however we managed to collect funds to pay for the verification and then apply for a board exam with the HPCSA.

And now we are called to write the exam but we need to pay a fee of R12456 per person in order to sit for the exam. We were initially told that the bursary we were given would cover for this exam and now after months of battling to register with the HPCSA to write the exams, the DOH has told us there are no funds to pay for the exam and it must be covered by individuals writing. This was told to us with only 4 days notice before the fees must be paid. 

The amount mentioned above must be paid before 26 September 2023 before 16:30
