Brain tumour medical cost Campaign
My husband, Alexander Schaft had a tumour removed from his brain. The MRI showed a tumour on his brain, bigger than a gholfball. The tumour was removed and left us with medical and fisio bills of more than R150 000.A plate was inserted in his brain, and just the cost of the plate was R119 000,of which our medical aid only paid R53 000. After the removal of the tumour, he was left immobilised in his left arm. He works as a senior developer. It is crucial for him to gain control back of his left arm. The money raised will be used to cover his medical bills and for further fisio.
