My dear friend Shan-Ray Hector, who bravely battled kidney failure and unemployment since November 2022, now faces a dire situation. Her dialysis sponsorship ended on August 29, 2023, and her medical aid lapsed due to financial struggles. Tygerberg Hospital has rejected her for further treatment.
