University Accomodation Top Up Campaign

My name is Emma Elson and I am a 20 year old student, studying towards a Bachelors Degree in Education at the University of Pretoria. I am currently in my second year of my undergraduate degree. I have been fortunate enough to have recieved a bursary from the National Student Financial Aid Scheme. However, this year they have made the decision to cap their accomodation funding at R45000. This was made known after I had been accepted and placed in a room on a campus residence. Unfortunatly it has been a financially difficult and draining year, due to my mom's medical bills and just day-to-day expenses, we have been unable to pay the outstanding amount needed for my accomodation in University. If this money cannot be paid, I will not recieve my results end of year and will be unable to register for my third year of university. I am a hardworking and diligent student and wish to complete my studies in the minimum 4 years. To do this, I need any and all help I can get. Every little bit counts and I would greatly appreciate any donations to this cause. I will appreciate even the smallest donation e as my studies are incredibly important to me. Reaching this goal will allow me to complete my studies on time and recieve my university results this year. It will allow me to continue working towards my dream career. These funds will go directly into the university account. The outstanding amount for my single room in my residence is R17500. If the amount is exceeded the extra funds will go towards helping cover my accomodation for 2024 and 2025.
