ACADEMIC ACHIEVERS TOUR 2024 62839 Campaign

My name is Justin Janse van Rensburg. I am 14 years old and reside in Pretoria. I am a hard working student, diligent and organized.  I participate in almost every school activity, Athletics, Rugby, Cricket, Drama, Art and Culture, as well as Science Expo. I currently serve on the Student Council and pass with a +80% average on my school report.

With the Science Expo, I participated every year for the past 8 years

With my last participation I did a research project on the Decline of Sharks around the South African coast. I won Gold and was also named the Category winner for Sustainability and the Environment, and was recently invited to participate Nationally in December 2023 at the South African Youth Engineering and Science Symposium (SAYESS)

My future plans include becoming a Marine Biologist.

I am one of a few selected students that have been invited to join the Academic Achievers Tour to the USA in 2024. 

I am trying to Raise funds to be able to attend this tour.

This tour will see the group travelling to Boston, New York & Washington over a period of 11 days, visiting world-leading universities.”

The tour is orientated to expose academic achievers to top-class tertiary institutions where they will have the privilege of attending private lectures. Universities included for this tour: MIT, Harvard, Yale University, Columbia and Princeton. Lectures cover an array of globally significant topics”
