Caring for Cupie Campaign

Monday, 07.08.2023 she had a fall. We took her to ER, and wss informed that she broke her hip, and hip replacement was 

scheduled for the next day. We were then informed that she had a heart attack and slight stroke, and was taken to ICU. Only 

after two weeks the operation could go 

ahead. She was 3 weeks in hospital and is now for 1 week in a step down facility. Her medical aid is exhausted for the year, so she can only be in step down facility for 7 days.

She is currently very frail and only semi-mobile, thus in need of a day carer. Funds 

are a problem, and therefore decided on raising funds to get her the help she needs.
