Dark Complex Campaign

My name is Ethandwa Dwane, I’m a Film student in CPUT. I’m the producer of the film called Dark Complex,as a producer it is my duty to raise funds for our film . Dark Complex is about Thingo a dark skinned South African girl in her teens who faces discrimination from her  light skinned mother while growing up in Cape Town. Her appearance is reminiscent of her father, who abandoned her and her lighter-skinned mother.With this film we want to raise awareness about colourism and discrimination within families. Following the girl’s emotional journey ,the film can help audience to emphathize with the experiences of individuals who face discrimination based on their skin tone.We also want to empower individuals who have faced similar discrimination to stand up and embrace their true selves.This film is going to be our graduation film in 2024. As the team we are trying to raise funds for it to be a success. Thefore I’d appreciate it if you can donate any amount you can to make our graduation film a success.Our target is R10 000.
