Feedy Needy

Feedy Needy is An NGO that has  been in existence for the past ten years.  During it’s years of operation it has reached out to the poor of poorest communities.  Our work is not only restricted to the Phoenix Community, but throughout the province of Kwa Zulu Natal.  Feedy Needy is not funded by the Department of Social Development or any other Government Funding.  Our source of funding is from private departments, local businesses and individuals; however, this is becoming stagnant as there are many little organizations that are mushrooming in the community.  The number of beneficiaries is extensively increasing at an accelerated speed as we take our services to the peripheries of the Province of Kwa Zulu Natal.

Despite the lack of funds, the organization continuously endeavours to produce quality service.  Our services are not limited to race, colour, religion, gender or creed and every service recipient is served with sheer respect and inherent dignity, without expecting anything in return. We operate on a budget of approximately annually.  Feedy Needy spearheads the following projects:

•Provision of meals on a daily basis to various schools in and around KZN

•Promoting sustainable livelihood through workshops.

•Education and training

•Milk formula and diaper

•Orphans and vulnerable children (twice a year)

•Feeding  programmes  (throughout the year – ongoing)

•Hamper distribution (monthly) ongoing)

•School uniforms and stationery (annually

 • Winter clothing (annually)

We also run a wheelchair campaign for  Children with rare medical conditions. (When the need arises)

Feedy Needy wishes to distribute meals to underprivileged learners in various schools throughout KZN, in order to make this initiative a success we humbly appeal to you for assistance.
