I am sharing Sammy with you Campaign

Meet Samuel Groenewald – an exceptional brother, father and husband. Sammy (or Sam), as he is known by his friends and family, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on 16 December 2022 – devastating news to all who know and love him.

Sam is 52 years young and has endured intense pain, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and weight loss of 25kg within the last 10 months. Being a craftsman in profession – this directly impacted his ability to work.  After a visit to his oncologist on 27 September 2023, the Doctor confirmed that the treatment Sammy received did not produce the required results and immediate further treatment is needed.

Throughout this time, Sam has had tremendous support from his family, both emotionally and financially, however, his medical insurance plan provided funds for oncology up to the amount of R300 000 but has been completely depleted and all further treatments will have to be paid out of pocket.

May I please ask that we all reach out to the Groenewald family? They would need roughly a further R300 000 – R400 000 for the lifesaving treatment. We cannot take away the emotional stress from Sam and his family, but we can try our best to ease the financial strains.

All funds collected will go directly towards oncologist appointments, scans, chemotherapy, hospital treatment, and all medicine required.

Samuel, Daniel, and Elizabeth are very dear and lifelong friends of mine who never hesitate to help others in need. I want to give back and try any- and everything possible to assist in their time of need.

God has been so, so good and faithful up to this point, and we trust in Him to make a way forward. Many thank You’s to each person who is willing to sow into their lives.
