2023 SA Wresting Championships Campaign

Hi all.

My name is Nathan Veenendaal and I am 12 years old. I have been selected to represent the Western Province as a U/13 wrestler at the SA Youth Wrestling Championships in Pretoria on 7 Oct 2023. Being selected to represent my province is a great honor for me.

I have been a wrestler since 2019 and since then have won numerous medals in competitions though out the years. This year I was awarded my provincial colors during the WP championships held in Cape Town. To be able to travel to Pretoria to take part in the competition there would mean the world to me, but I need urgent funds to get there. Also I would need to purchase my wrestling gear such as the WP singlets and track suit.

The aim is to raise about R20 000.00 in the next month. This would cover most of the costs and make it possible for me to go. My gear alone will cost me about R3 000.00. The remainder of the funds will go towards travel expenses, accommodation and my entry fees to the championships.
