Hope Again Recovery Centre
The mission of our Centre is to transform our society by bringing freedom and hope to people trapped in addiction, to restore broken relationships and to equip people for a life beyond recovery. We do this by empowering them with practical life skills and a life plan to make a positive contribution to society through the help of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
The Centre is located just Outside Potchefstroom and is an independent non-profit company that uses all surplus funds to subside treatment for people who cannot otherwise afford it. The Centre currently caters for men and woman and has the capacity to treat 100 persons at a time. We strive to increase that number to at least 250 people.
We have various projects that we run. Here are two of our main focuses
* Grace for Woman - We give woman who are rescued off the streets from Human Trafficking and Substance Abuse and give them a safe haven and we assist them to break free from addictions that go hand in hand with living that kind of lifestyle. To keep this project running we desperatly need to cut down on costs eg FOOD. Therefore we need funding for the daily care of the clients
* Homeless Shoebox project - We have joined Kosmos Angels for their yearly project (Our first year) where they gather a setlist of items and give it to the homeless and needy every December. For this project we are in need of simle merchandise such as soaps, creams, non-perishables etc
Through HARC many people have been able to start a thriving lifestyle free from addiction and substance abuse and we strive to keep incresing that number. We have countless testimonies and everyone is welcome to make an appointment should you wish to come and experience HARC first hand
