Hearts of Hope
Hearts of Hope is a registered NPO for 34 vulnerable and abandoned children, from birth to 18 years of age. Our children are provide with a secure, homely and stimulating environment until they are placed in a permanent home, or can be reunited with family. Many of our children have been deprived of the basic right to be a child and so, our focus is to "give children back their childhood". Education and health care are two key priorities.
In addition to our home, Heart of Hope runs an education and development programme for children in our care who are between the ages of 0-6 years old. This ensures that each child receives the maximum stimulation and development in their first 1000 days’ of their life, which is understood to be the most critical phase of development for a child.
We also play an important support role in the provision of resources such as as food, educational equipment and clothing, to local disadvantaged pre-schools and similiar organisations within our network. We support the local community which often consist of child-headed households, by meeting their basic needs.
Any donation will be greatly appreciated and every bit counts! For more information about Hearts of Hope and the precious lives we impact, please visit https://heartsofhope.org.za/
