Hanover Park Cricket Club

Fish Rite Hanover Park Cricket Club is a Registered Non-Profit (176-964) and Public Benefit Organisation. The club aims to impact our members by sports education. We are committed to teaching cricket, as a way of education, to help restore dignity and a sense of belonging for our community, enrichment of quality of life, taking ownership of its roles and responsibilities, to unify the community and to curb the gangsterism, violence, drugs, or etc. We strongly believe the sport education can lead to positive change.

We are currently operating as a cricket club with 3 senior teams, 1 women team and 9 junior teams playing in the Western Province Cricket Association (WCPA) leagues and operating a Cricket School Programme among 4 schools from Mondays to Thursdays on a very limited budget and require to document the outcomes of this programme. We term it “Quad Cricket”. We have indeed made some achievements and we are also planning the further expansion.

Overall, the club has many dreams and goals that the club would like to achieve. We are an ambitious club and have been taught not to be afraid to dream big by very successful individuals.
