House Andries Olivier Durbanville Quadriplegic Centre

The Durbanville Quadriplegic Centre is a non-profit organisation and public benefit organisation that provides permanant housing in the form of a self help centre to 12 quadriplegics and paraplegics, whom are paralysed in either four or two limbs, respectively.

The self help centre is managed wholly by the residents who assume responsibility for all tasks including fundraising, management of staff and resources, community partnerships, treasury, and more.

The centre fosters the health, independence and social integration of quadriplegic and paraplegic adults and aims to promote a healthy, active and independent lifestyle for all the residents helping them realize their full potential.
