Sponsor school fees Shaw Park Campaign
Will you help sponsor for school fees for learners who attend an excellent little farm school in the Eastern Cape of South Africa: Shaw Park Primary School? https://shawparkprimary.co.za/
Shaw Park Primary School was established in 1880. The school now has a mixed intake of English, Afrikaans and isiXhosa language speakers, with isiXhosa first language speakers now making up 75% of the intake.
This is a government school with Grades R-7, but it only receives funding for 2 Grade teachers and one isiXhosa language teacher. This means the remaining 6 teachers salaries are paid from school fees paid by parents.
However, increasingly many parents are unable to pay school fees. The Eastern Cape has the highest unemployment rate in the country (47.4%).
Please consider helping sponsor a Shaw Park Primary learner's school fees so that they continue at the school, which has high academic standards, dedicated teachers, and small class sizes (only up to 12 learners in a class).
Please help support our school community, where every learner has the support and guidance they need to reach their potential.
If you help us raise our target (R125,150) we will be able to sponsor 5 learners’ school fees for the whole year! * This will make a HUGE difference to these learners and their families.
Thanks for your support!!!
