Baked Shakespeare 2024 Season Campaign

After a sold out run in Cape Town and winning an Ovation Award at the National Arts Festival, the Baked Shakespeare family is gearing up for a hugely anticipated season in 2024 ... and they need your help!

Baked Shakespeare is a local startup lead by a captivating team of young creatives who are taking the South African theatre scene by storm.  This is not just another theatre gig for the Baked Shakespeare team. This is a community that has involved over 50 young artists globally - performers, writers, directors, and more.

Baked Shakespeare needs your support. Over the years, their company has expended a huge portion of their time into a concept that they believe in. We feel that it is time for everyone involved to see larger financial benefits from doing the project they love. Baked Shakespeare needs your help in raising funds to compensate their team members for the quality work they are producing - as well as cover the production costs of a four month run, including their return to the National Arts Festival in Makhanda.
