Help Holo the cat get treatment Campaign

He will be 2 years old in January and has not shown any signs of illness or destress. On 8 September 2023 we noticed that Holo was struggling to urinate and it was evident that he was in extreme pain. We rushed him to our nearest vet just in time as they informed us that he had an inflamed bladder that was about to burst. 

Unfortunately this unexpected vet visit cost us R 6000 which is well beyond our means but we had to pay it to help our baby. We were told that he would need to be on a special diet & prescribed medication. The cost of his prescribed Urinary Care diet has also taken a hit on us financially. 

On the evening of 28 Sepetember 2023 we noticed him straining once again and decided we had no choice but to do an emergency after hours vet call. The cost for this call out amounted tp R2000 and he was kept overnight to have his bladder drained and monitored. He has been diagnosed with FELINE IDIOPATHIC CYSTITIS ( FIC ) and were told this is a re-occuring chronic illness and he will need constant care and monitoring.

I (24) am unemployed and my boyfriend (27) is self employed. To date we had to pay R10 000+ for Holo which we ofcourse would happily do. We love our cats dearly and would hate to have something happen to them.

We kindly appeal to our friends, family and the public to please help us recover the funds that we have lost so that we can continue to care for all our cats to the best of our ability. Holo is honestly the sweetest cat and has alot of love to give.
