Jennevie a rising star campaign Campaign

 

I teach my children that working hard and sticking to your goals is the only way that you will reach your dreams. Unfortunately, I realized that this is not always the case because sometimes the opportunities do presents themselves but due to financial struggles you cannot necessarily fulfill those dreams.

 

This is the case with my fourteen-year-old daughter Jennevie Gie. She is a dedicated dancer who works very hard to reach her goals and competed in allot of competition's during this year. She also competed at Talent Africa nationals in October where she received gold for all 3 of her dancing items. This means that her hard work finally paid off because she qualified to go and represent South Africa on an INTERNATIONAL level trough Talent Africa in 2024.

 

We as parents are extremely proud of her achievements but also hart broken because we simply don't have the funds to send her to USA - NEW YORK in 2024. They need plus minus a R 20 000 deposit in December already to secure her place. The total cost is R 63 500 per person, but this excludes her Visa, spending money and the entry fees to the competition. By APRIL 2024 all fees MUST be paid. We have never been overseas but for now all I could do is promise her that I will try to raise the funds needed.

 

So therefor we ask with a humble and grateful heart to please consider a donation towards my child's dream.
