Hawston Rugby Club Com Support Campaign
We are thrilled to introduce our project, "Safe Spaces for All," aimed at creating a welcoming environment for the elderly and disabled during our match days.
At Hawston Rugby Club, we believe that the essence of true sportsmanship extends beyond the field and into the heart of our community. Today, we're excited to announce a game-changing initiative that goes far beyond tries and tackles.
Hawston Rugby Club is dedicated to making our matches accessible and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of age or physical ability. With the "Safe Spaces for All" initiative, we aim to address the specific needs of the elderly and disabled community by implementing the following:
We plan to launch a dedicated platform for the elderly and disabled, ensuring a safe and comfortable space for them to watch the game. This platform will provide easy access to resources on the field, including the tuckshop, toilets, and other amenities.
Home Ramps Installation:
To enhance mobility, we will build ramps at the homes of the elderly and disabled, enabling them to move freely and independently within their residences.
On match days, we aspire to offer transportation services for the elderly and disabled, ensuring they can attend the matches without any logistical challenges. This includes transportation to and from the field, making the entire experience hassle-free.
We are committed to installing accessible toilets to accommodate the specific needs of our elderly and disabled community members.
To make match days a complete and enjoyable experience, we plan to provide complimentary hotdogs and cold drinks for our special guests.
