Kuilsrivier Jeugbedieningsforum Trust
The Kuils River Youth Trust is a non-governmental organization (NGO) that focuses on the needs of school-going children in the wider Kuils River area. The Trust’s goal is to place Social Workers in schools, thus addressing the needs of 1000th young people.
The salaries of the Social Workers are paid jointly by the governing body of the school and the Kuils River Youth Trust. The Trust has already begun the process of identifying a new school and discussions are underway to place our next Social Worker in Sarepta. The parents of this school do not pay school fees, the school only receives a subsidy from the WCED. To make this dream a reality, we need at least R250 000.00 a year to pay the Social Worker’s salary.
To further this cause, we ask that businesses/private individuals please support the KRJT. It is our initiative to create higher levels of knowledge about the needs of the children within the Kuils River and to provide the support they urgently need.
