World Championship Dream Campaign

My name is Jachin Josiah Naidoo. I am 15 years old. I live in Richards Bay, KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. I am very passionate about public speaking and acting, a talent I have been developing since the tender age of 5. Over the past years, I have competed in numerous competitions, locally, provincially and at National level. I have received a many accolades to show for this. In 2023, I won 3 National Item winner awards at Conspirito, place in the top 10 at the Wits University Public Speaking National competition and place 4th in KZN for the ATKV  competition. 
Being the extrovert, led me to pursue modelling and here too I have excelled. I was crowned Best of the Best 2019. I also won a few photographic competitions and was featured in local newspapers and a national magazine. 

My greatest achievement to date was me medalling at the South African Championships in Performing Arts in October 2023, in Rustenberg. Here, I not only received my provincial colours but I received 2 bronze medals in Photographic and Casual Runway Modelling and a silver medal in Open Acting. I was selected to be a part of Team SA to participate at the World Championship of the Performing Arts  from 24 June 2024 to 10 July 2024. In order to make this possible I will have to raise R138 000. This total will include the following:
  • Air ticket
  • All tours
  • Travel insurance
  • Transfers between hotel and airport
  • Team uniform
  • Admin fee
  • Accommodation
I love performing arts and found the SACOPA competition be by far the best. Being on this platform was a mind blowing experience. I can only imagine the magnitude of the World Championships. 

I humbly request your assistance. Being able to represent my people and my country will truly be a dream come true. I know that hard work and perseverance goes a long way. I will continue to strive to excel on this platform. Many dream of opportunities such as this, so I consider myself blessed to be chosen to represent my beautiful country. Remember that what you may deem little to invest in my dream WILL make a difference.
