Ilze Feldtmann Support Campaign

 

On Saturday 9 September a tumor was identified on her brain which had to be removed immediately. She is under sedation for the time being and in ICU. 

 

The road to recovery will not be an easy one however the family is positive that with the necessary therapies and help Ilze will be able to live a fulfilling life. She is currently in Steve Biko hospital, the family is asking that we respect Ilze’s privacy and as such no current photos will be taken of her and no visitors other than her parents and her partner Schalk will be allowed. 

 

Ilze is a mother to little Jennifer, a 4 year old girl. With finances already being limited there are concerns about caring for Jennifer and making sure that while Ilze recovers there is provision to help her focus on her health without the financial pressure. If you feel you would like to contributing towards assistance for Ilze and Jennifer it would go a long way to help them forward. Funds will go towards Jennifer’s school fees and making sure her basic needs are met. If need be it will also be used for medical care for Ilze once she is dicharged from hospital.
