Mhudis London Art School Fundraiser Campaign

I am an aspiring photographer and cinematographer.

I have been offered the opportunity to study at one of London's prestigious art schools , Camberwell University of Arts London - September 2024 - to explore and learn more about the industry I am passionate about. I believe the course will help me in pushing the boundaries in the art world as this is my hope for my future. 

Attending a world class art school has always been a dream for me.

Art interests me in every form, the way it can convey feelings and perspectives and allows people to be transported to other worlds. 

Being able to attend this school would be a huge honour as I'd be able to further my knowledge of art and strengthen the skills I already have. I will be able to explore aspects of the subject I do not know yet and grow to be among the very few black women directors of photography, introducing diversity and more representation in the industry. Enrolling in art school is not just about learning techniques and gaining knowledge; it's about immersing myself in a community of like-minded individuals, receiving mentorship from experienced artists, and having access to the resources and tools that will allow me to push my boundaries and explore new horizons. It's about turning my passion into a lifelong career and sharing my unique perspective with the world.

As you can imagine, this course's costs are incredibly high. Tuition, art supplies, studio space, and living expenses can add up quickly, especially given the weak South African currency. Your support will not only provide me with the means to pursue my education but will also be an investment in my future as an artist. Whether you can contribute a small amount or a more substantial donation, every rand will bring me one step closer to realising my dreams.
