Disease Scent Detection Campaign
I am starting a new project where a scent detection dog will be trained to detect wildlife diseases. The hope is that we can train dogs to detect wildlife diseases more efficiently to try and limit the spread between populations and by this aid in conservation efforts of endangered species.If successful the project will also be used in agricultural settings to detect diseases in poultry and cattle and thus aid in the food security of the country.
We are hoping to start of with one border collie and then later adding more dogs to the project across the country.
We are also in the works of establishing a Non-Profit organization for the project.
