Education 61194 Campaign

To whom it may concern,
I am Miriam Tetani, single mother of Micheal Tulonga Tetani, age 12.

Growing up in the rural villages of Eastern Cape and township of Imizamo Yethu, Hout Bay has been hard for me, because not only was I surrounded in a negative environment but I was never exposed to all the resources I needed to reach my full potential and break the generational poverty cycle in my family.

Being a single mother has taught me to be strong for me and my child and continuously educate him to have the mindset of being someone successful in life.

My son is extremely passionate about soccer and he would like to attend FTIFA Soccer and School as this will not only be an educational school for him but also a school that nurtures his talent, soccer.

I live in a small, one room cluttered maid quarter where I’ve had to make it work for the past 14 years. My home includes: the kitchen, living room, bathroom and 2 sleeping spaces all in one space. This is another reason my son has been very keen on wanting to attend FIFTA Soccer and School, because they have boarding school and he believes it will be a better environment for him.

Unfortunately, I am unable to afford the fees required to attend this school and I am currently seeking for someone who can come to my aid and help me in paying my son’s tuition so I can make his dreams possible.
