CAvival to CA SA Campaign

As many of you know - Loré is not only a loving husband, wonderful father to our four beautiful children, and trustworthy friend to many, he is also a registered Business Accountant in Practice (BAP(SA) through SAIBA, with his independent reviewers license.

 He has however embarked on expanding his qualifications. Part of this process entails to obtain the CGMA (Chartered Global Management Accountant) designation through CIMA, a globally recognised institute. 

CIMA has awarded him exemptions through their CFO pathway based on his current qualifications and years of experience in the required fields. This exempts him from 15 of the 16 evaluations, with the final evaluation set to be written in November 2023. This is were the first obstacle takes place, to accept the award, he needs an amount of GBP3,800 (+ - R90 000) - this needs to be paid by 2 November 2023 -which will include his registration, exemptions, various workshops and study material, and the fee for the final evaluation. After passing this exam, he will obtain the CGMA designation. This is however not were the ultimate goal ends.

The above designation will allow him to enter into the shortened pathway agreement between CIMA and SAICA. After obtaining the CGMA, he can enrol into a SAICA accredited program, which can take as little as 6 months to complete, which will then enable him to write the APC (final board exam of SAICA), and allow him to also obtain his CA(SA) designation, a dream he has had since high school.
