Spain to South Africa Campaign
My Aunt Joan Henry, was due to recieve a surprise bday present by her hubby. A flight down to our wedding on 23 September 2023. Unfortunately her husband was laid of by his company that has been struggling with the current state of the economy. She had really wanted to be with us on our special day as my parents are both deceased.To make matters worse we recieved the news 2 weeks ago that she has since been diagnosed with melanoma. Very heartbreaking as she lost 2 of her brothers, my father being one and my mom aswell to Cancer.
We are optimistic that things will however be positive for her.
This brings me to the point of opening this page, I know that the time is limited...but if it is meant to be that she joins us on this day then I believe we can make this target. However should we not make this target in time all proceeds will still go to my Aunt. Her husband is on a 8 week Temporary contract with a company. They only give medical to permanently employed persons. So the money would definitely be put to good use.
