OUT LGBT Well-being
For more than two decades, OUT has provided health and well-being services to the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) community and other marginalised and vulnerable people in Pretoria.
We provide various services, including three nurses, outreach teams, counselling HIV testing as well as medication to treat and prevent HIV. All of these services are free. Ultimately, OUT is a safe space for those who feel unwelcome or discriminated against in the health care system.
OUT also runs the Love Not Hate programme that works to combat hate crimes against LGBT people by providing support and education, monitoring incidents of hate and lobbying government to ensure the safety and dignity of all South Africans.
