Independent Young Moms Campaign
Hi My name is Sandiso Peme also known as Mimi. I stay in KwaDwesi in Port Elizabeth/Gqeberha. I’m starting with a campaign that wants to help young women and young moms to take space and build themselves not for only for themselves but also for their children. I want to bring in inspiration and fund potential ideas to teach and help young women to take space, be educated, be able to stand on their own feet if you have to and and also give out food packages and kids clothing and makeovers if possible to desperately needed young mothers and children.My beneficiary it’s going to be my partner and my best friend who’ve been babysitting young mom’s kids for a long time and understands young mothers cause she has been around me as a young mom as well so she initially wanted to be on board with changing young mother’s lives and continue to help them with their kids as she stays kind and loves kids.
I’ve witnessed so much things happening in townships and as myself as a young mom and woman I’ve had quite of my minor experiences but I’ve seen far worse of which I would love to minimise some issues I can handle to help other young moms and women and children to not depend on the father of their children and be independent continue with life and because they may think their lives are over because of having a child at a wrong time, I want them to think it’s just a beginning to greater things in life as children push us to do better, to be able to eat, bath, wear clothes and have a roof on top of their head.
This funding will help a lot, changing young moms and women lives for the better to not think of the next meal for themselves and the baby, not worried about education, not worried about what you’ll wear or the baby, where will they will go go or live, where will they get supplies or funding for their business.
