Laptop for friends son Campaign

My friend's house was broken into and amongst the few items taken was her son's laptop was stolen. Her son is in grade 10 and uses his laptop mainly for school purposes. His parents are not insured and cannot afford to buy him another one. They saved for a few years to buy the laptop that was stolen.  This young boy is absolutely heartbroken and does not even want to go to school as all his work and projects etc were on the laptop.  And I am hoping to be able to with your help to buy him a new one.
