Lost our home in a fire Campaign

My name is Sinaed Stuart, I am from Breidbach in King William’s Town. The reason for the backabuddy post is to appeal to all to please donate to our cause. On the 27th of September 2023, my husband, Marlin Ruiters and I lost our home in a devastating fire that destroyed all our possessions. On the morning of the 27th we heard a scream from the neighbours, followed by the explosion of what we later realised was an empty gas can. The cause of the fire remains a mystery, although we do suspect that it may have been electrical. The fire brought our whole structure to the ground, and ravaged all our possessions. We lost all our furniture, clothing and shoes, books and documentation, and everything we had from our late fathers. We are devastated by the disaster. It has been brought to our attention that as the place was not the main house in the yard, the municipality unfortunately cannot do anything to assist us. This has put even more strain on us emotionally, and the financial burden that comes from rebuilding our home and lives seem an impossible task. We are now asking organizations, companies and even individuals for help. Help can be in the form of clothing and shoes, building supplies, furniture, monetary donations or employment. We have nothing left, everything was destroyed in the fire that almost took both our lives. We plead with you all to please assist, in whatever way you can.
