Laptop Needed Campaign

My name is Tyla Gurney. I'm a differently abled, sociable, fun and engaging qualified TEFL English teacher. I have a consistent burning desire to keep impacting and empowering the lives of children and young adults worldwide!

Recently I've started part-time tutoring online on a platform known as Preply at $3/h and after gaining some experience, I've increased the hourly rate. It doesn't pay all of my bills but it's a great starting point. I'm also studying a Counselling course through Career Institute but after 12 years, my laptop is broken and urgently need one to continue from where I left off. 

All classes have been cancelled until further notice and I came to the realisation that I can't complete assignments for my counselling course as it's incredibly difficult to work and study from a mobile phone hence the reason for this fundraiser.

 My mom is also finding these circumstances really overwhelming and stressful as she is currently covering almost everything financially such as my rental, caregivers salary and my chronic medication so I  can't expect her to cover this as well. 

This fundraiser is inspired by the verse Proverbs 16:3 which says, commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans and 2 Peter 1:5-8 which says 'For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control, and to self-control, perseverance, and to perseverance. godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
